Advanced epoxy composites with borane compounds

The project is focused on the development and subsequent production of composite coatings and modified matrices for fibre composites of the GFRR (glass fiber reinforced polymers) and CRFP (carbon fiber reinforced polymers) types with improved properties due to the content of boron compounds in the polymer matrix. The newly developed material will show improved mechanical properties well above the glass transition temperature of the epoxy matrix, increased thermal conductivity, chemical and corrosion resistance, hydrophobicity, increased thermal resistance and reduced flammability, improved abrasion and reduced friction.

The project is solved in cooperation with SYNPO a.s. and the University of Pardubice.
