Supplementary Information for the Handling and Use of Lithium Salts:

1. The received material is a lithium salt and, as such, is extremely hygroscopic. The supplier reserves the right that the declared water content stated on the packaging and in the accompanying safety data sheet is valid only until the first opening of each individual container by the customer.

2. To prevent contamination of the material by moisture from the environment, it is recommended to handle this substance exclusively under an inert atmosphere, preferably dry nitrogen, or under vacuum. The material may also be processed in a dry box with an atmospheric moisture level below 50 ppm H₂O.

3. The water content in the supplied compound is always determined by ¹H NMR measurement against a blank sample and is reported as the molar equivalent relative to the delivered lithium salt. If necessary, the determined value is rounded to one decimal place, always upward.

4. If required, water content may also be determined using Karl Fischer titration. However, this analysis will incur an additional charge of 340 EUR added to the order price.

5. The manufacturer reserves the right to reject any claims regarding the water content of the delivered material if the recommended handling procedures are not followed during subsequent processing.
